Route instructions

[1] From the bus stop on Salter's Lane, turn left to walk up the hill to Trimdon Grange Industrial Estate. Turn left into the street that leads to the industrial estate. Follow the road along the units.

Watch out for cars as there is no pavement.

[2] After DLI Seals Ltd on your right, you will see a graveled public footpath on your right. Follow it around when it leads you along the fields.

[3] Turn left to walk directly up to the farm. Go between the stables to follow the public footpath.

[4] Behind the stables, there are two metal gates (one straight ahead and one on your left). Take the one straight ahead of you. Go through the gate and close it behind you. Walk diagonally over the field to exit the field through another metal gate.

[5] You will reach a nice graveled path. Turn left and follow the road for a distance.

Be careful as there might be livestock in the fields.

[6] At the end of the road, go through the gates and you will reach a tarmac street. Turn left to walk back to the industrial estate.

Again be careful as there is no pavement.

[7] At the end of the street, turn right to go back to the starting point.

Trimdon Grange has a close-knit community and offers great sporting activities, e.g. Zumba classes, Bootcamp, Dance classes, Taekwondo and football.
